Functional Medicine Chronobiology Protocol for Jet Lag and DNA Protection

PART I: THE INVISIBLE ASSAULT (The Pathophysiology)
- Radiation Storm: Cosmic radiation at 35,000ft creates Hydroxyl Radicals, causing DNA strand breaks and mitochondrial clogging.
- Hypobaric Hypoxia & BDNF: Lower oxygen pressure drops BDNF (the “brain fertilizer”), causing cognitive decline and anaerobic waste.
- Structural Hypoxia: “C-curve” slumping compresses the airway and Phrenic nerve, reducing lung capacity by up to 30%.

PART III: THE SMART-PHONE SYNC (Reminders)
- The “Movement” Alert: Set a recurring chime every 60 minutes while awake to perform the Kinetic Reset.
- The “Oxygen” Alert: Set a different chime every hour to perform the 5-minute Deep Breathing.
- The “Destination Bedtime” Alert: Set a sleep chime for the exact time it is 10:00 PM in the destination you are travelling to. When this goes off, turn off all ringers, put on the eye mask, ear plugs and take your sleep stack.
PART IV: SUPPLEMENT DOSAGE & TIMING
????️ Phase 1: 7 Days Prior (The Priming Phase)
- 8:00 AM (Breakfast): Ginkgo (120mg), Antiox-Oxivail (1 cap), Multi (2 caps), ADK (1 cap), Fish Oils (2g), Digestzymes (1-2 caps).
- 12:00 PM Digestzymes (1-2 caps).
- Between lunch and dinner(Empty Stomach): NAC (600mg), Quinton Isotonic (1 vial).

Hourly 5-Minute Oxygenation & Kinetic Reset:
- Mastication: Chew food 20–30 times to prevent putrefaction/Candida.
- The Breathing Procedure (5 Mins): Perform 10 cycles of 4-7-8 Breathing. Inhale (4s), Hold (7s), Exhale (8s). The exhale must be forceful to create a “diaphragmatic vacuum” that pulls stagnant lymph upward.
- Standing Extension: Galley area. Arms back, look at the ceiling. 3 reps for 20s.
- Hip Flexor Stretch: Lunge stance. 2 reps per side for 20s.
- Upper Body Rotations: Standing, elbows out. Rotate head/shoulders. 50 reps.
- The Pump: 20 Calf Raises to move lymph. Be mindful of others’ space.

- Grounding: 15 mins barefoot on earth to sync to 40,000 nT.
- Hormonal Anchor: Whole Licorice (Morning) + Protein Breakfast + Sun.
- Lipid Restoration: Resume Fish Oil (2g) with the arrival meal.
- Structure: Lay on the floor with Neck Roll for 15 mins.

- Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza):
- WARNING: Licorice can raise blood pressure and lower potassium levels.
- DO NOT USE IF: You have a history of Hypertension (High Blood Pressure), Heart Disease, Kidney Disease, Hypokalemia (low potassium), or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not combine with diuretics (water pills) or corticosteroids.
- Magnesium & Hydrogen Therapy:
- WARNING: Magnesium is cleared through the kidneys.
- DO NOT USE IF: You have Kidney Disease (Renal Insufficiency) or are on dialysis without express permission from your nephrologist.
- Note: High doses of magnesium may cause loose stools; adjust dosage to bowel tolerance.
- Melatonin:
- WARNING: Melatonin is a hormone.
- DO NOT USE IF: You have an active Autoimmune Disease (it may stimulate immune activity), Lymphoma/Leukemia, or are pregnant/nursing. Use caution if taking blood thinners or sedatives.
- Fasting:
- WARNING: Changing meal timing affects blood sugar.
- DO NOT USE IF: You are a Type 1 Diabetic, an insulin-dependent Type 2 Diabetic, or have a history of disordered eating.
